Kishmi Animal Healing Center was created with a vision to improve the health and well being of animals and their people. Animals, like humans, are unique individuals. At Kishmi, we honor and respect each animal by allowing them to be a willing participant in their own healing path. Most animals enjoy receiving energy through a gentle touch, but in cases where animals are uncomfortable with physical contact we provide distant energy healing sessions. Distant work is just as effective and may be a more appropriate choice when the animal is stressed or in severe pain.

Flower essences are also beneficial in restoring balance physically and emotionally. These potent drops of vibrational energy have the ability to release anxiety, fear and trauma. They can quickly get to the heart of the issue creating profound healing and positive changes. We believe combining these two healing methods can produce long lasting health and well being.

The center is conveniently located off Interstate 84 in Tolland, Connecticut, just 20 minutes from the Massachusetts border.
About Kathy Armstrong
Kathy is a certified practitioner and instructor of Quantum-Touch and a Shamballa master. She is a licensed nurse whose previous healthcare experience includes cardiac intensive care nursing, medical office nurse, and management of an urgent care center and internal medicine office.
Anyone who knows Kathy will tell you she has been devoted to helping animals and people her entire life. She is intuitive by nature, which has provided her with guidance and insight. Kathy’s goal is to assist animals and people in their own healing process by providing energy healing sessions, flower essences, and counseling. Her dedication doesn’t stop there, as she is also committed to helping animals and their family through the dying process. Although death is a natural stage of life, most people have difficulty with the emotional aspects of losing a beloved friend and companion. During this time is when animals and people need the most support.
Like most people, Kathy has experienced the loss of animal companions. Although it was devastating, she gained tremendous insight into knowing what was in the Highest Good of her dogs. This insight has allowed her to offer support and guidance to those dealing with the heartbreak of saying goodbye to a beloved family member. Her integrity, sensitivity, and caring way has helped many families through the grieving process. Kathy is happy to share her experiences, and is available by phone or in-person to offer energy healing, guidance, and support to animals and their human friends.
